omg i love ur blog! my sentiments exactly!
though I'm concerned with the whole kpop scene being famous here in the ph. (suju, f(x), 2ne1, wg, 4minute etc) I hate the fact that it has reach mainstream. I'd rather listen to them thru the net than hear them playing in local radio stations. I'm not passed the stage of being a selfish fan. hahaha! <3

I saw a trackback coming from your blog that's why I'm here. Hehe.
But I can't even see my link here...parang ang weird tuloy.
Anyway, SNSD was one and my first ever Korean girl group I discovered since they debuted. Well, dahil kasi ung mga naunang nakahiligan kong Korean Boy Band is part of SM Entertainment also like TVXQ and Super Junior. Wala talaga akong masabi sa girls na to, hindi lang sila pretty, ang hot din nila and you can't really compare their fashion style sa ibang artists all over the world. Pati nga ung ibang asian countries, ginaya narin sila eh...I can't remember kung ano, basta Indonesia ba un? O.O Ay ewan.

By the way, nakapunta ka po ba sa Korea? I wanna go there also...sabi nga ng Ate at Mama ko, gusto ko na daw ata maging Korean kasi obviously ung culture nila is nagagaya ko narin, pati ung expressions and language. Kekeke. Na impluwensyahan lang...

How much ba papuntang Korea? haha.

Sorry about the unclear description. Here is the thing, I wish to build a desktop app, which can query bugs with a bug id directly from TFS, and if I choose to open it, then the app launch Visual Studio and open the bug in its original Bug editor UI, Is there any chance to do that?

Thanks for your reply again:)

This artical is great, it helped me a lot. I am building an automation testing software for our company, which including features to work with bugs in TFS.
BTW, Is there any way to view a Bug (type a bug ID) through Visual Studio IDE programatically? I have googled it, but no useable information found.
Thanks in advance. :)

Wow, awesome. Just like you, I am lazy too and will go through great lengths to make things easier. At my work, we monitor back end processes through our scheduling software Control-M. We are tasked to identify if a process is running longer than the average run time then escalate to find out if it is hanging. This is done by getting the start time, average run time through the software then identify if it is already hanging. I hate computing time on my head. On top of that, there is a lag between each operation you do in Control-M. That's why I wrote a Unix script to automate monitoring, calculating of long running jobs. Now all I do is stare at the monitor all day without lifting a finger.

Invoking your Hubris. Your comment system pisses me off. I can't use the arrow keys nor copy paste. I had to manually type a URL!

I don't think your definition of jologs is appropriate enough. It seemed too vague to me. To a Filipino, it would make sense; however, if you read it at a foreigner's point of view, it doesn't give out the same negative vibe a Filipino would understand. It's funny how it's so hard to explain Filipino colloquialism to someone not familiar with the culture. D:

My definition of "jologs" would be a person who's tacky... Someone who exudes the opposite of sophistication. It's the lack of refinement, whether intellectually, in etiquette, or in fashion. :/

I'd just like to do some devil's advocate on everyone reading this (including you Ian Uy, hehe), and please don't take this as one of those you consider as ad hominem...

What about the Hollywood boy band craze in the Philippines during the 90's? Everyone, elite or mass were following their tracks and their (probably) music videos? The jologs labeling was still on its premature stage during that time, right? Was associating those bands to the general public (particularly the masses) already jologs? I just need some clarifications. Hehe. Thanks.

Nevertheless, I respect your side because we all have our own Weltenshaungg (worldviews) and no one can keep us from speaking our minds as long as we are on this democratic territory. I think it's all about respect on everyone's perspective which includes yours, Ian Uy, and the other people. :)

errr...jologs....from the ground and roots of it,it wasn't been defined accurately in the first place. From my understanding,it was used to replace a term that will be commonly hurt people's feelings (that, is to say from the Filipino point of view a.k.a. messy Filipino morals) to make it sound good in short, though the definition isn't clear. It's relative to the one who's always been using them to identify a certain/group of people, commonly it is applied to those/groups of people who are using certain trend/items but a sight for sore eye to the beholder and can't accept the fact that they have them too (hence, one will become irritated by the mere knowledge of it). But one thing is for sure,it's just to hide the hurtful term that is used prior using "jologs" term. Basically, using the term "jologs" falls to the side of an elitist perspective.
just my opinion. ;)
